“Had a great time here on Saturday night with my brother in law after travelling up for a rugby match. The atmosphere was great, the owner and his son are Great people and lovely hosts! I'd recommend to anyone passing by to stop in for a drink (we didn't eat there but I wouldn't hesitate to if we were out for a meal) ... We unfortunately lost our match Sharks v Leicester 🙈 but the boys at the Bowling Green made us feel much better! Good genuine family run establishment! Keep up the good work boys and we'll definitely stop in when we do our next rugby match there 👍”

“The bowling green - cozy and warm place . Nice to hang out with friends . Tasty pies , and friendly staff . Just off the main road , so parking can be a problem . Monday evenings is a good time to try out their range of pies - coz it's cheaper than on other days .”

“This was a good place to visit with friends and their dog who I had missed seeing for such along time, so it was lovely catching up and ordering my food while waiting for other friends to arrive and meet up with us. The food I ordered was delicious along with my drink and good value for money too, the service was also very good and the atmosphere was great too.”
